VIDEO EDITOR INTERN

For this role, we are looking for someone with a passion for telling visually interesting stories in short and long formats. This role will bring client, coach, and company stories and messages to life by combining design and video into standout videos and media experiences that engage, excite and educate our customers.
The ideal candidate is one who is confident in their skills and has a demonstrated passion for, design, as well as a point of view on how concepts translate into moving images. You are comfortable working independently and are able to take a concept from idea right through to execution.

Duties:

- Collaborate with the Content Creator, Graphic Designer and Primal leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic and motion design solutions to build a superior customer experience.
- Produce video graphics (motion graphic skills is a plus) and video edits.
- Proactively manage time and deadlines.
- Work closely with fellow graphic designers to ensure high standards of graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing brand consistency and customer experience.
- Communicate design, motion graphics (is a plus) and/or video editing rationale in a clear, respectful and open, fluent manner with internal partners.
- Film videos on location.
- Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
- Plan the shoot with the content team.
- Edit footage in post-production.
- Direct other camera operators (if needed) so that the needed footage is acquired.

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

- Proficient spoken and written/speaking English communication skills.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other required graphics and video editing tools.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products.
- A love for video production is required, including experience providing conceptual direction to others.
- A portfolio of videos demonstrating motion graphics proficiency is a plus.
- Vector-based illustration skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and self-prioritize.
- Strong time management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
