Video Production/Editing Engineer

We are seeking a talented and innovative Video Production Engineer to join our growing Team in the EdTech industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a passion for educational storytelling and digital media, who combines strong technical editing skills with a sharp visual sense.

In this role, you’ll work across a diverse range of media — including educational videos, course content, digital marketing assets, and motion graphics — helping bring our brand and learning experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute proactive creative input by suggesting visual concepts, storytelling improvements, and production enhancements to continuously elevate the quality and impact of our educational media.

• Edit and assemble educational videos using Adobe After Effect, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Apply colour correction, audio balancing to ensure clarity and impact.

• Integrate motion graphics, captions, and instructional overlays to enhance comprehension and engagement.

• Ensure alignment with pedagogical objectives — editing for clarity, pacing, and instructional flow.

• Collaborate with educators and instructional designers to align content with learning objectives.

• Maintain efficient post-production workflows, file management, and version control.

• Optimise video output for multiple platforms (LMS, YouTube, internal portals).

• Ensure accessibility compliance through captioning and subtitles.

Skills and Experience

• Degree in Media Production, Film, or Educational Technology (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years’ experience in video editing, post-production, or digital learning media.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or DaVinci Resolve and Figma.

• Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual communication skills.

• you  should demonstrate the ability to leverage AI-driven tools and workflows to enhance video editing efficiency, automate routine tasks, and elevate creative output.

• Experience with the video production process and support for studio setup.
