Responsible for managing warehouse and logistics operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, transportation, cost management, KPI performance, team leadership, and process improvement to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
1 Warehouse Operations
- Manage inbound, storage, picking, and outbound activities
- Ensure operations follow SOP and company standards
- Control warehouse layout, staging area, dock, and lane utilization
2 Inventory Management
- Ensure high inventory accuracy
- Monitor stock movement and cycle counting
Prevent stock discrepancies, shortages, and damages
3 Logistics & Transportation
- Ensure on-time delivery performance
- Coordinate with Route Planner and transport team
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints
4 Cost Management
- Control warehouse and logistics costs against budget
- Analyze operational costs (labor, transport, damage)
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency
5 KPI & Performance Management
- Define and monitor department KPIs
- Analyze performance and take corrective actions
- Report operational performance to management
6 Team Management
- Lead, manage, and develop warehouse and logistics teams
- Plan manpower and resource allocation
- Build discipline, safety culture, and 5S practices
7 Safety & Compliance
- Ensure warehouse safety standards (forklift, fire, PPE)
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
- Minimize workplace accidents
8 Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Eliminate inefficiencies and redundant work (e.g., re-pack, re-handling)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
9 System & Data Control
- Ensure accuracy of ERP/WMS data
- Monitor operational reports and data integrity
- Use data for decision-making and improvement
10 Cross-functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Import, Sales, Finance, and Transport teams
- Ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain operation.
