Warehouse Supervisor (Shipping Area)

A. PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: 

To supervise and coordinate all shipping operations ensuring accuracy, safety, compliance with procedures, and on-time delivery. Responsible for managing staff, maintaining shipping documentation, and ensuring smooth workflow across departments.

B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Supervise all outbound (shipping) activities in the assigned area/shift.                                            
• Verify and confirm product quantity, quality, and condition before shipment.                                            
• Assign and monitor tasks for staff such as picking, packing, scanning, labeling, and loading.                                            
• Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO and all shipping procedures.                                            
• Maintain and enforce 5S and safety standards in the shipping area.                                            
• Review and approve shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, shipping labels, and delivery orders.                                            
• Coordinate with Planning, Sales, QC/QA, and Logistics to ensure on-time shipment.                                            
• Track and report daily shipping status, outbound performance, and inventory balance in the shipping zone.                                            
• Train new staff, monitor employee performance, and support discipline management.                                            
• Ensure operators have the skill level intended for the operations assigned and the associated process instructions.                                            
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.                                            
• Confer & coordinate activities with other departments.                                            
• Interface with customers on their audits at site.

1) Education: College degree or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.                                            
2) Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or shipping operations.                                            
3) Others: 

• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, shipping procedures, 5S, and safety standards.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS/D365 systems is an advantage.
• Able to perform system tasks related to shipping such as picking confirmation, packing confirmation, shipment booking, DO/SO processing, barcode label printing, and outbound posting.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP) for data analysis and reporting. 
• Able to generate and interpret system reports such as OTIF, shipping accuracy, shipping lead time, and inventory variance. 
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, with strong communication skills.
• Ensuring compliance with the policy including correctly understanding the intent of the policy.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and correctly understands the intent behind each policy.
• Maintains accurate employee discipline records to protect the company.
• Takes prompt corrective actions for any non-compliance issues.
