As a CSR Manager a leading garment manufacturer serving renowned global brands, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social responsibility strategies. This role involves overseeing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations and stringent customer codes of conduct.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a CSR team, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to achieve departmental objectives.
EHS Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to local laws and regulations, as well as rigorous customer EHS standards. Conduct regular internal audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
System Management: Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific projects, ISO/CTPAT systems, and other relevant management systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration and address EHS challenges.
Safety Culture: Create and promote a robust safety culture within the organization through targeted training, effective communication, and incident prevention programs.
Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and incidents to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Subcontractor Management: Ensure that all subcontractors adhere to customer requirements and local social responsibility regulations.
Job Requirement
University degree in Labor Protection, Environment, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
Proven expertise in safety, environment, social accountability, and management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CTPAT).
In-depth understanding of local labor laws and environmental regulations within the garment industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the garment or manufacturing sector.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a large team and build relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to implement and manage EHS programs and initiatives.
Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
