Operations Executive

We are seeking a proactive Operations Executive to manage end-to-end shipment execution across air freight and trucking, focusing on booking, routing optimization, vendor coordination, and cost control to ensure efficient and reliable service.

Air Freight Operations

• Execute and coordinate shipments per confirmed bookings, ensuring proper routing and capacity
• Place bookings with airlines/forwarders, securing space as required
• Plan and optimize air freight routes balancing cost and transit time
• Monitor shipment milestones and resolve issues

Trucking & Fleet Operations

• Design and optimize trucking routes for cost efficiency and on-time delivery
• Manage daily PUD, including driver assignment and scheduling
• Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Verify monthly driver incentives based on performance and policies
• Evaluate driver performance (volume, service quality, attitude, compliance)

Fleet Cost & Performance Control

• Monitor fuel, tolls, and vehicle-related expenses
• Manage fuel accounts, toll systems (e.g., VETC), and GPS tracking
• Track vehicle performance and prepare reports
• Consolidate and verify transport costs and coordinate with accounting

Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with airlines, trucking vendors, subcontractors, and warehouses
• Source and evaluate vendors based on capacity, pricing, and service quality
• Negotiate rates and monitor performance for cost and service efficiency

Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; minimum 2 years of logistics operations experience (preferably air/trucking/forwarding)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, especially air freight and trucking
• Hands-on experience in booking with airlines/forwarders and coordinating shipments
• Knowledge of fleet management, routing optimization, and transportation cost control
• Proficient in Excel; ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and drive operational improvements
• Strong communication and coordination skills; able to work under pressure, multitask.
• Good communication in Chinese.
