To spearhead the implementation of our new POS system, and to manage the system post go-live. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in POS systems, project management, as well as ongoing system management and optimization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Accountabilities:
POS Implementation: Take a critical role of the end-to-end implementation of POS, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external consultants to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Configuration Management: Ensure that the POS system is correctly configured to meet business needs, including setting up modules, workflows, and customizations.
Post Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support to users post go-live, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
System Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and work on optimizing configurations and processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Upgrades and Enhancements: Plan and manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Job Requirement
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in implementing POS systems, with a significant portion of that time spent on Dcorp POS or RetailPro solutions.
Work related skills:
Proven track record of successfully executing full-cycle POS implementations, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
Experience in industries relevant to VTI businesses: F&B, Retails, Coffee chain or Fashion
Experience leading cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, business analysts, and external consultants.
Experience with integrating POS with other business systems, such as ERP, Mobile App, CRM, HR, and third-party applications.
Soft skills:
Excellent project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
