- Manage and be responsible for all purchasing/sourcing activities and purchasing staff.
- Manage supplier/factory relations, work closely with them on pricing, products, production schedules, and all issues related to purchase orders.
- Review, document and obtain all details, information and specifications required to complete the accurate pricing of all RFQs/projects to customers and the related purchase orders to suppliers.
- Review and verify all drawings completed for RFQs to ensure they are complete and in accordance with the client specifications, and that the supplier quotations and pricing assumptions are in accordance with the specifications provided to them by the Company.
- Review costing and factory bill-of-materials to ensure accuracy and competitive pricing for products. Research market prices for products.
- Prepare and release purchase orders to the suppliers/ factories, manage material orders on time for production, manage inventory in factories.
- Prepare cost estimates for each project and monthly payable reports.
- Coordinate with Technical team in reviewing samples, PPS…
- Coordinate with QC team, Technical team to supervise the factories during production and ensure that the quality requirements for all shipments are met and documented.
- Coordinate with suppliers/factories to ensure completion of production orders and adherence to production schedules.
- Coordinate with QC, Logistics department/ Freight forwarders/ shippers and suppliers in labeling, packaging, container loading and scheduling shipments.
- Provide and update production schedule reports to Senior Management as needed.
- Assist with the development and implementation of project control procedures.
- Identify and review new suppliers/factories for materials, components and production, together with Technical team to review the factory capability and capacity.
- Product Cost Efficiency: review the costs and analyze the costs to make sure they are reasonable. Analyze the BOM and advise on the reconstruction of the products when needed to have the best cost.
- Other duties as directed by Senior Management.
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Foreign Trade, Accounting/ Finance is advanced.
2. At least 3 years of working experience in the same position. Have been working for factories is preferable.
3. General knowledge of all product types, strong knowledge and experience with the following types of products: furniture, outdoor furniture, flooring is advanced.
4. Understand about product packaging.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Good analytical skills and organizational skills. Good with numbers.
7. Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
8. Excellent English communication skills.
9. Detail-oriented, Hard-working, Honesty, Self-responsibility. Able to work under pressure.
