Job Description

This role will have overall responsibility for the conceptualization, development & implementation of the retail sales strategy for aggressive growth aimed at driving high performance and operational efficiency by ensuring that SO targets are achieved.

Main responsibilities:

1. Training

2. Retail management:

- Decompose the SO BP targets for all categories into category/time/channel dimensions, formulate and implement retail strategies, and monitor the progress of SO targets achievement;

- Make PSI plan for each channel

- Take over the strategy of new product launch, and implement it as terminal retail promotion activities and management actions, focusing on the achievement of SO goals of structural products and new products in each category, and improving product structure

- Market survey, ensure maintenance of detailed customer database, and carry out ongoing customer trend analysis to support retail sales strategies

- Analyze the performance of the retail system and new concepts to inform ongoing and future strategies;

- Manage retail digitalization aligned with retail management strategies.

3. Terminal management and optimization:

- Take over the marketing strategy of the structural products of the marketing department;

- Execute terminal construction;

- Based on the terminal image standards output by the Marketing department, plan the placement of relevant terminal materials to ensure standardized deployment to the terminal;

- Manage sample units, devices, and promotional gifts.

4. Standardization & improvement of retail management’s efficiency:

- Define the standards of the retail management process, and promote the application and optimization of the retail management processes;

- Standardized management of terminal prototypes

- Based on the product knowledge standards output by the branch marketing department, refine the localization standards related to sales reception, speech, and other scenarios, train and empower and evaluate sales representatives (shopping guides), and ensure that product advantages can be conveyed to consumers;

- Monitoring, evaluating, and improving the implementation of the retail management standards.

5. Relationship:

- Work cross-functionally and closely with Marketing, Sales, Planning & Logistics, Product Operation, and Finance to drive growth.

- Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree;
  • Fluent communication skill in English or Chinese (verbal and written) is a must
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in executing retail strategies, and retail operations (Mobile/ FMCG industries are preferable)   
  • Ability to quickly develop wide-ranging cross-functional partnerships and establish productive relationships to address complex problems
  • Critical thinking and data-driven
  • Solid change management, a strong dare to change the strong mindset
  • Strong leadership, supervises mentoring and coaching for team members
