Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position plays a key role for promoting and selling baking ingredients to various customers in Vietnam, including bakeries, pastry shops, and food manufacturers.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development:
Identify and target new potential clients in the bakery sector, including Horeca, independent bakeries, and bakery chains and develop strong customer relationships.
Define and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects.
2. Customer Portfolio Management:
Leverage a pre-existing network of contacts and relationships within the bakery industry.
Regularly update and manage the customer database, ensuring accurate records of interactions and sales activities.
3. Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to drive product development and marketing strategies.
4. Product Knowledge & Support:
Possess in-depth knowledge of bakery ingredients and products, including flours, additives, and other essential materials.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients on product applications and best practices.
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to enhance their understanding of our offers.
5. Hands-On Engagement:
Engage with bakers and production teams on the ground to understand their needs and challenges and provide technical expertise.
Facilitate technical discussions that enhance customer confidence in product use and application, based on in-depth understanding of their pain-points.
6. Collaboration:
Work closely with our internal marketing and product development teams to align strategies and address market demands.
Collaborate with logistics and operations to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
7. Reporting:
Prepare regular detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to share with management.
Provide feedback from customers to inform product enhancements and new offers.
Job Requirement
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the baking industry, as well as hands-on technical experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Food Science or a related field.
Language Skills: Fluency in Vietnamese and English is essential.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the Vietnamese food industry, particularly the baking sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
