RGF's Client - a Japanese company providing solutions for water and environmental pollution treatment - is looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to manage and support procurement activities for water treatment equipment and related chemicals used in manufacturing factories, and will be responsible for ensuring smooth procurement operations with appropriate cost, quality, and delivery.

• Working Location: Tien Du Commune, Bac Ninh Province
• Monthly Salary: 28M - 30M VND Gross
• Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the procurement of water treatment equipment, related products, and chemicals
  • Collect, organize, and analyze purchasing information and prices
  • Check market prices and review quotations
  • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality with suppliers
  • Manage the purchasing process from ordering to delivery and inspection
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers in the Northern area
  • Manage existing suppliers and procurement activities, mainly for chemicals
  • Identify issues in procurement operations and make improvements
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing, delivery, and other related matters
  • Check and prepare documents for payment processing
  • Support and manage team members in daily procurement activities

• Necessary Skills / Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Language: Business-level English
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
    • Experience related to water treatment, chemical products, equipment, or machinery
    • Experience negotiating prices and delivery schedules with suppliers
    • Leadership experience, including training, supporting, and managing the progress of junior team members
    • Basic skills in Excel and Word
• Preferable Skills / Experience:
  • Language: Japanese - Intermediate Level 
  • Experience in sales or procurement at an engineering, subcontracting, or water treatment company
  • Experience in strategic procurement, such as cost reduction, quality control, risk management, and price negotiation
  • Management experience for more than 2 or 3 staffs
