Chief Accountant (Business Partner Focus)

We are looking for a Full-stack Finance Accounting Professional who not only masters core accounting operations but also possesses a Business Partner mindset. You will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy of financial statements, optimizing tax compliance, and providing strategic advisory to management to ensure sustainable business growth within the E-commerce and Import-Export sectors. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tax Management & Compliance 

• Lead the planning, filing, and finalization of all statutory taxes including 
• Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT). 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations to optimize tax costs and ensure 100% legal compliance. 
• Financial Reporting & Audit Control 
• Perform deep-dive detailed checks on Financial Statements to ensure data integrity, reasonableness, and accuracy. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and government authorities during inspections or audits. 

E-commerce & Import-Export Operations 

• Manage cash flow, revenue recognition, and specialized cost structures inherent to the E-commerce business model. 
• Oversee accounting treatments for import-export activities, foreign exchange fluctuations, and logistics-related expenses.  

Tech-savviness & Tools: 

• Software Proficiency: Strong command of modern accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) 
• Data Analysis: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and building automated financial dashboards. 
• AI Integration: Ability to explore and implement AI tools to automate accounting workflows, enhance productivity, and perform advanced data analytics. 

Strategic Advisory & Problem Solving: 

• Analyze financial variances, identify potential risks, and propose effective solutions for senior management. 
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to consult other operational departments on financial processes and cost control measures. 

Experience: 3-4+ years in Finance/Accounting team lead/supervisor position (MNC or Big4 preferred). 
Knowledge: Expert in Vietnam tax laws, VAS, and E-commerce/Export operations 
Act as a Business Partner, identifying risks and providing solutions to management. 
Languages: Fluent in English / Chinese (Mandarin) 

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
Certifications: Chief Accountant Certificate (Required); ACCA/CPA (Preferred).
Language Skills: Proficiency in English or Chinese (ability to present financial data and write professional reports in these languages).
Soft Skills: Logical thinking, complex problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
