Cost Coordinator (Furniture/Binh Duong)

The Cost Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining accurate furniture Bills of Materials (BOMs) beginning at the whitewood stage, and for completing timely BOM cost analysis in close collaboration with the Development team. The role identifies all product components, validates material specifications and usage, and estimates the total product cost. The Cost Coordinator also supports cost-change analysis when material specifications, product designs, or raw material prices change.

• Build the initial furniture BOM from the whitewood stage based on drawings, product specifications, samples, and confirmed construction details.
• Work closely with the Development team to verify product structure, material specifications, dimensions, consumption, hardware, packaging, and other BOM inputs.
• Maintain and update the BOM throughout product development, ensuring design changes and specification revisions are reflected accurately and on time.
• Complete BOM cost analysis within the required timeline to support product development, and cost review milestones.
• Visit suppliers and factories when necessary to verify actual materials, specifications, construction, and usage against the BOM and product requirements.
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or abnormal BOM and cost information, and coordinate with the Development team and relevant functions to resolve issues promptly.
• Analyze cost changes caused by raw material price fluctuations, specification changes, design revisions, or usage changes.
• Conduct price comparisons, cost benchmarking, and price positioning to support sourcing and business decisions.
• Process and analyze cost data, maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement of BOM creation, costing standards, data accuracy, and cross-functional working processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Working Hour: Mon - Fri (8-5) & alternate Sat (8-4)

• College degree or above.
• Experience in furniture development, BOM creation, product costing, or cost analysis is preferred.
• Good logical thinking, numerical accuracy, and sensitivity to cost data.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
• Effective time management, problem-solving skills, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in CAD is preferred.
