Logistics Planning & Coordination Supervisor

The Role
We are seeking a Logistics Planning & Coordination Supervisor with a background in planning/berthing scheduling or operation supervision to take ownership of vessel scheduling, coordinate berthing arrangements with POSCO Family member companies, and lead the timely mobilization of operation manpower at POSCO Port. This is a fast-paced, operations-focused role within the Logistics Sales & Management Department, supervising day-to-day operation activities and working closely with member companies, shipping lines, stevedoring contractors and internal operations teams to ensure smooth, on-time vessel arrival, berthing and cargo handling under time-sensitive conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of vessel schedules calling at POSCO Port, tracking ETA/ETB/ETD updates and promptly flagging schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Plan, arrange and adjust vessel berthing schedules in line with port capacity, tide/DWT restrictions and operational priorities.
- Work and communicate closely with POSCO Family member companies to align and arrange suitable vessel schedules for smooth vessel calls at the port.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, ship agents and pilots to confirm vessel arrival details and resolve schedule conflicts.
- Supervise and coordinate with stevedoring, trucking and other operation vendors to ensure timely arrangement of operation manpower and equipment for cargo loading/unloading.
- Supervise and guide operation staff on daily scheduling and cargo-handling activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of execution.
- Liaise with the port authority on berth allocation and compliance with port operating regulations.
- Track cargo handling progress and update internal stakeholders and management on vessel and operation status.
- Take the lead in troubleshooting operational issues (delays, congestion, manpower shortages) and drive corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain vessel schedule reports and operation performance data for management review.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in vessel/berthing planning, port operations, or logistics operations, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity (e.g., Operation Supervisor or similar role).
- Proven experience in planning and berthing scheduling, with a solid understanding of vessel schedule management and port/stevedoring operations; bulk cargo or port experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including member companies, shipping lines, port authority and vendors.
- Good communication skills in English; Korean is an advantage.
- Ability to work well under high pressure and tight deadlines, staying composed and effective amid frequent schedule changes and urgent operational demands.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with the ability to make quick, sound decisions when schedules or priorities shift.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to work on-site at POSCO Port when required.
