- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, equipment engineering, or machine build projects.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (or equivalent 3D/2D CAD software).
- Hands-on experience in:
- Mechanical design and detailing
- Mechanical assembly and machine integration
- Tolerance analysis and GD&T
- Material selection and surface finishing
- Machining processes (CNC milling, turning, sheet metal fabrication)
- Weldment design and fabrication
- Plating, coating, and surface treatment processes
- Precision mechanical assembly and alignment
- Mechanical components, bearings, linear guides, ball screws, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Mechanical drawings
- Engineering specifications
- Manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools and systems (ISO 9001, 8D, FMEA, SPC) is an advantage.
- Good project coordination and cross-functional communication skills.
- English proficiency: Intermediate level or above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation equipment, or precision machinery industries.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments, cleanroom practices, and ESD requirements.
- Knowledge of motion control systems, servo systems, vacuum systems, or precision alignment applications.
- Experience working in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
