Process Technician

Job Purpose:

Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and improving the Post/Bonding process to ensure targets for safety, quality, productivity, service, and cost are achieved. The role also supports process standardization, troubleshooting, and the industrialization of new products and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Post/Bonding process performance using KPIs such as RFT, OEE, MME, waste, productivity, and customer complaints.
• Investigate process deviations and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Review and resolve daily quality issues, abnormal products, and formulation-related concerns.
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, material, and production issues in collaboration with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinate autonomous maintenance activities and support machine reliability improvements.
• Develop, update, and ensure compliance with SOPs, ALPS, ISO standards, PSM, and other operational requirements.
• Drive process standardization, visual management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate SAP transactions (CF, STO, TECO) and ensure timely production order closure.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to production operators.
• Support manpower planning to ensure efficient production operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, SAP, ISO management systems, and Process Safety Management.
• Experience with risk assessment, process troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Results-oriented, proactive, customer-focused, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Fair command of spoken and written English.
