Research Director, Head of Property Sector

About the role

Vietnam’s property sector is an important part of the country’s growth story, and HSC’s research plays a key role in helping clients understand the market and identify investment opportunities.

As Head of Property Research, you will lead HSC’s view on the sector, shape investment insights, engage with institutional investors and key market stakeholders, and lead a high-performing research team. Working closely with Sales, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management and Investment, you will help turn research into meaningful insights and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Property Sector Research function, ensuring high-quality, timely and commercially relevant research output.
• Develop Property Sector insights, investment views and ideas to support clients and business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, listed property companies and key sector stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Investment and other business functions to support research and business objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop Research team members, strengthening sector expertise, analytical capabilities and overall team performance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Securities Brokerage Practice Certificate required.
• Derivatives Securities & Derivatives Securities Markets Certificate required.
• CFA qualification is preferred.

2. Knowledge & Experience

• Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including significant equity research experience.
