Job purpose

The Warehouse In charge is responsible for managing the storage, handling, inventory control, and dispatch of CKN processed cashew kernels, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate stock management, quality preservation, compliance with food safety standards, and timely material movement to support production and customer deliveries.

Duties and responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock verification/cycle counts.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for storage and dispatch.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise receiving, unloading, storage, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of cashew kernels and packaging materials.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities with production and logistics teams.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Prepare and maintain GRN, stock registers, delivery challans, and dispatch documents.
• Update inventory records in ERP/software systems.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain cashew quality.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and warehouse standards.
• Implement safety procedures and ensure use of PPE by warehouse staff.
• Support internal and external audits.

Dispatch & Logistics

• Coordinate loading and dispatch of finished products.
• Verify quantities, batch details, and documentation before shipment.
• Liaise with transporters for timely deliveries.

Team Management

• Supervise warehouse assistants, loaders, and forklift operators.
• Allocate work and monitor team performance.
• Train staff on warehouse procedures and safety practices.

Required Skills

• Inventory accuracy (%).
• Stock loss/shrinkage control.
• On-time dispatch rate.
• Warehouse space utilization.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• English communication skills are an advantage
• ERP/SAP/Tally knowledge are an advantage
• Always willing to travel on multi-day business trips as required by the company

Working conditions

Salary Range: As per company standards and experience.
