Project Controller

Job Description

Summary: Project controller is incharge of gathering and analyzing project data to keep costs and schedules on track. The functions of project controls include initiating, planning, monitoring and controlling, communicating, and closing out project costs and schedule. Ultimately, project controls are repeatable processes for measuring project status, forecasting likely outcomes based on those measurements and then improving project performance if those projected outcomes are unacceptable.

1. Oversee a project's expenses to ensure it stays within budget
2. Manage project budgets
3. Coodinate on project disbursements to subcontractors and vendors
4. Follow Gross Profit (GP) during the project by pairing costs with completed work and cost inputs at that stage of work to ensure project costs are tracking and under control
5. Review overtime and ensure following company’s policy
6. Review the project costing
7. Address miscellaneous where needed

Job Requirement

* Requirements:

1.      Relevant qualifications

• 2-3 year experience in relevant functions
• Experience in project control in construction is a plus but not a need

2.      Favorable skills:

• Good English communication in both oral and written
• Good Excel/ costing skill, IT adaptable, strong quantitative skills
• Analytical skills, negotiation, organized, problem solver and collaboration
• Willing to learn and ability to learn

3.      Preferable qualities

• Proactive, excellence follow up to get things done, high EQ
• Honest, firm and high sense of responsible
