<Job Responsibilities>
1. Delivery schedule management
(1) Manage schedule from product development sample stage to mass production~shipping~launch
(2) Confirm the production coverage and production process LT before mass production
(3) Check the daily production progress and confirm that there are no abnormalities in the progress.
(4) Report the above information to the Production Department at the head office (Tokyo) and link with it.
2. Quality control
(1) Plan the preventive measures for fabric/sewing quality problems in the product development stage
(2) Quality check of mass-produced products (continuous confirmation of proper quality from pre-production to end of production)
(3) Do on-site inspection at the factory/request for improvement and progress confirmation
(4) Investigate the cause of quality defects, planning countermeasures, and confirmation of the progress of improvements when defects occur
(5) Report on the above to the Production Department at the head office (Tokyo) and make business trips in conjunction with the above.
4. Sourcing and regional development of eco-friendly materials
(1) Source the environmentally friendly materials (natural fibers, recycled materials, etc.) that can be procured in ASEAN countries, especially Vietnam
(2) Propose products necessary for daily life in the ASEAN region
(3) Disseminate ideas that could become the next mainstay products based on hints obtained from the lifestyle of ASEAN countries.
5. Organizational strengthening and human resource development
(1) Team management to achieve results in the above operations
(2) Recruitment and training of local human resources necessary to achieve results
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Language: Japanese and English - Business Level (Japanese is preferred)
・Experience:
- Has experience as a team leader or manager and is able to build the company's culture while developing human resources.
- Have basic skills and experience in sourcing new materials, new factories, and managing the production of mass-produced products.
- Experience as a manager or leader of an organization
- Experience and knowledge of garment production/quality control or planning and development
・Others:
- Basic PC Skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Maximize the results of the organization while utilizing the individuality and strengths of team members to achieve goals and solve problems while collaborating and negotiating with the head office and other MGS locations
- A strong will to carry out tasks and be able to take a leadership role
- Able to work for a long-term
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Experience working in a Japanese company is preferred
