Job Summary: The Assistant to the Board of Directors is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and analytical support to the Board. This role involves data consolidation, procurement, HR administration, project coordination, and general office management.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Consolidate and analyze data on SMV, FOB, order quantities, and output quantities.
Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators.
Procurement:
Source and select reputable suppliers for machinery, equipment, and spare parts.
Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Track payments and manage after-sales services.
HR and Administration:
Generate weekly worker movement reports for TMV, ELT, and TMK.
Monitor attendance and performance of expatriate employees at TMV and ELT.
Process and track CM invoices for submission to SIN.
Project Management:
Coordinate and track project timelines and deliverables.
Prepare materials and agendas for HOD weekly meetings.
Manage trade union relations and other ad-hoc tasks.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Management, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an assistant role within finance or garment industry.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Experience with [ERP or procurement software] preferred.
