Automation Engineer

1. Improve the plant, increase of equipment reliability

• To ensure safe working conditions are designed and standardised into any changes in working practices, new machines and equipment
• To monitor and improve PLC automation and controls to ensure smooth plant operations with minimum breakdowns attributable to electrical, automation and control reasons
• To monitor and improve WINCC SCADA system to ensure manufacturing team can control manufacturing process with the highest accuracy
• To provide detailed problem analysis for engineering solutions to maintenance problems in conjunction with production management and operators

2. Co-codinate with other department to works together and ensure achieve target

• To create detailed, descriptive plant shutdown schedules, which secure the total ongoing support and contribution of the plant management team
• To support the manufacturing team in the review of successful performance and countermeasures
• To develop and implement energy management systems leading to reductions in operations cost
• To support the maintenance team in problem analysis, countermeasure and preventive breakdown

3. Upgrade equipment and system

• To find abnormalities in equipment or system to fix
• To find weakness of design to improve the equipment and system.

4. WCM progamme

• To apply WCM basic tool solve problem and lead PM or FI project

5. Safety

• Promote and manage a safe working environment that results in attaining the group target of ZERO accidents. Specifically, to ensure that safe working conditions are designed and standardized into any changes in working practices
• Do the SMAT, OSA, EMAT every month
• To do risk reduction project to improve plant risk score

• Graduated from college or university with a major related to automation, prefer maintenance for the plant  construction material
• Must have hands-on experience in working on automation & control projects from start to finish, from systems design, programming, integration of systems, I/O checking and commissioning
• Must have deep experience about PLC (Mitsubishi, Siemen)
• Set up inverter (ABB, Siemen, Yaskawa,..)
• Good knowledge about operation and setup parameter  for combustion system, calcination system
• Awareness of safety
• Training on reacting to emergency cases
• Training operation procedures, maintaining equipment (PM) and machines of the areas
• Training check measure, control the operation of equipment, output of the area
• Hard working, can work under presure & work in shift in case required
• Ready work over time
