Role purpose and responsibility:
• Develop, gain approval for and implement an effective Annual Brand Plan that meets the volume, revenue, profit and brand building objectives for the brand.
• Contribute to the development the Annual Company Strategic Plan
Role accountabilities:
Implement the brand marketing plans within budget and on time. Co-ordinate the resources of the organisation to achieve approved objectives
• Develop and get approval for detailed annual brand plans for the assigned products/categories covering all required elements.
• Implement brand marketing plans within A&P budget and on time. Co-ordinate internal & external resources to achieve the agreed objectives, ensuring ROI are undertaken.
• Develop the annual A&P budget for the brand portfolio and formally monitor and report progress on a regular basis.
• Adjust marketing strategies and plans to suit changes in the market and competitive situation.
• Liaise with related departments to ensure marketing activities are consistent with other activities of the company and in line with the overall goals of the company.
• Recommend the development of product innovation.
• Lead the strategic discussions & project management around product/communication innovations.
• Be accountable for analyzing the brand’s performance in the cluster and competitor intelligence with inputs from local markets, proactively identifying issues and opportunities for critical decisions or insights into innovation planning.
• P&L understanding. Clarity on what drives disproportionate growth and margin.
• Lead, coach, evaluate and develop ABMs/Brand assistants.
MAJOR CHALLENGES:
• Accordingly develop effective marketing strategies including new product development to leverage the brand’s strength into new product categories.
• Co – ordination and management of external service providers (advertising and promotion, market research and distribution).
*Essential
Education:
• University graduate in preferably Marketing, Science or Pharmacy, Food Science or Nutrition or other related scientific field.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years marketing experience in a Multinational FMCG Company.
• Marketing experience or nutritional background in a food manufacturing company would be an advantage.
• Brand planning, Project Coordination and Budget Management skills
Technical/Functional
Expertise
• Confident, outgoing and career orientated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills including experience in group presentation and public speaking.
• Able to travel nationwide and internationally.
• Highly computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Power point, Word and preferably with the IBM Lotus Notes email package.
