Propose category plans to deliver revenue and margins targets.
Research market & competitors to propose effective monthly, weekly, and daily promotions, and effectively communicate to cross-functional departments.
Tracking performance and reporting.
Suppliers’ management:
Propose potential brands to partner with based on know-how of industry and comprehensive market research.
Approaching brands and proposing Joint Business Plans based on understanding of business model, portfolio, pricing policy, trade terms, and long-term win-win partnership.
Managing relationships with partnership suppliers.
Tracking suppliers’ performance comprehensively and frequently to propose initiatives to strengthen partnerships and develop category performance.
Trade marketing management:
Developing and executing a Trade Marketing Plan aligned with business objectives and managing the Trade Marketing budget
Review and evaluate activity on all trade marketing program and activities for effectiveness and efficiency.
Analyze competitors, price audits, and analyze market trends to identify business development opportunities.
Propose activations with brands and work with stakeholders to implement BTL/Trade campaigns.
Utilize brand and communication materials effectively and according to brand guidelines.
Job Requirement
Minimum 5 years experience in Category Management within the FMCG sector, or Retail/ Wholesale/ Trading with prior experience in supervising a small team
Trade marketing or trade engagement function.
Fast learner & capable of adapting to new challenges.Advanced negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
