The Viet Thai F&B platform (East West) is a multi-brand platform that currently owns and manages approximately 100 restaurants under various leading brands. The platform will continue to expand and introduce new concepts, acquire, and consolidate other F&B brands under this platform.
Main Purpose of the position:
Manage all accounting activities for BUs under East West (EW)
Manage Performance and Develop capabilities for Accounting Staffs
Responsible for monthly/ yearly financial statement and tax finalisation reports for all business within EW
Priamary liaison for EW in all aspects pertaining to Accounting
Work with the Banks/ Auditors/ Taxes
Key Accountabilities:
Finance/ Accounting Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams at EW/Group, to gather and provide financial data and insights for decision-making and strategic planning
Financial Planning & Budgeting
Manage and control EW annual Budget and weekly payment plan to ensure the working capital and smooth operation.
Support the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing input and analysis.
Finance/ Accounting Report
Monthly/ Quarterly/ Yearly Accounting Reports
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring compliance with audit and tax requirements.
Prepare and check tax reports monthly, quarterly, yearly and submit on time
Main contact when working with tax authority, bank officer and other government parties.
Update tax regulation, manage risk of tax in the business activites
Team Accountant Management
Mentor and provide guidance to the accounting team, promoting professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary adjustments to accounting practices and policies.

Job Requirement
Education:
Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Chief Accountant Certification is required.
CPA Level is a plus
Experience:
7-10 years in accounting with at least 2 years experiences as CA in F&B industry and people management .
Experience with tax authorities, VAS/ IFRS
Experience with managing financial reporting of a business with at least two revenue or product lines.
Work related skills:
Experience in setting up accouting system and establishing SOP's and internal control policies.
