Job Description

  • Collect data from internal / external sources on all factors that impact the demand planning
  • Lead regular sessions with sales to understand the forecast dynamics & main drivers (ex; seasonality, pull forward activity, market conditions, programs market shares) to finetune the basics for future forecasting analysis.
  • Consolidate & validate that all forecasts are aligned with sales budget, business needs & supply chain challenges
  • Analyse statistical forecasting process, review historical sales trends
  • Reconsider systems, methods, propose & implement solutions to improve accuracy in demand forecasting
  • Contribute to the implementation of a new forecasting system / software to optimize and facilitate the demand planning process.
  • Modelize and deliver regular reportings
  • Constant analysis of consumptions, stocks, key suppliers planning, to reconcile significant variances and finetune the forecasting approach
  • Develop inventory strategies with sales, regions and key partners.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the latest information is always available.
  • Daily clerical work & “coaching” with local offices and suppliers

Job Requirement

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office: Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI
  • Problem solving oriented with strong ability to question, challenge, accurately identify a need, and present an effective & constructive solution
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  •  Able to manage multiple priorities in an efficient manner.
  • Very much detail oriented.

  • Strong metrics modelling capabilities
  • ERP knowledge
  • Eager to learn and bring the team to the next level of excellence
  • Bachelor degree in supply chain management, business admin, business analyst, statistics, or any related subject.
  • 2 – 3 years experience in demand planning / supply chain / logistics / operations environment in a fast paced industry.
