We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about product presentation, category management, and maximizing sales opportunities through effective merchandising strategies.
Responsibilities:
Product Merchandising: Curate and manage product assortments to ensure optimal presentation and alignment with brand guidelines. This includes selecting product images, writing compelling product descriptions, and organizing products within categories.
Category Management: Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market data to identify opportunities for category growth. Develop and execute strategies to optimize category performance, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Site Merchandising: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product management to plan and execute website merchandising initiatives. Ensure product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns are effectively showcased on the website to drive traffic and conversion.
Content Management: Manage product content and attributes across ecommerce platforms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Work closely with Merchandise and internal stakeholders to obtain necessary product information and assets.
Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates, and average order value to evaluate merchandising effectiveness. Utilize analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in ecommerce merchandising. Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in ecommerce merchandising, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Proficiency in ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or Haravan.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong eye for visual presentation and product aesthetics.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Understanding google analytics/ Haravan is an advantage.
