· Prepare for all internal and external audits, ensuring 100% compliance.
· Lead the (Agro/Manufacturing/ND&T in PepsiCo Ha Nam Plant) team to take necessary actions to meet EHS local Vietnam regulatory and PepsiCo standard requirements.
· Review and update new regulations, ensuring timely communication and deployment to the operations team.
· Regularly conduct self-audits and assessments based on specific requirements.
· Maintain records and provide monthly reports.
· Design and deliver EHS training for contractors, new hires, employees Group 04 (legal), and other required topics to ensure adherence to company policies. – Execute
· Collaborate with standard owners and HR to develop a comprehensive EHS training plan and matrix.
· Ensure annual on-the-job EHS training is conducted for all employees and contractors.
· Coordinate with HR to ensure timely delivery of planned EHS training sessions.
· Develop and implement local H&S programs to foster a strong safety culture among employees.
· Work with local fire authorities to organize fire training for the fire team and lead annual emergency evacuation drills.
3. Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001) and Highly Protected Rating (HPR)
· Implement the program and monitor its execution to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and the HPR system, achieving successful yearly surveillance audits by FM and external agencies.
· Develop risk assessments and procedures for new lines or facilities to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and the HPR system.
· Serve as an internal auditor for the integrated system (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
4. Safety
· Manage the operations of the OHS Workers team (Group 6). - Consult, Influence
· Establish and update procedures for implementation at the plant, ensuring compliance with GEHSMS standards, ISO 45001, and legal requirements. - Consult, Influence
· Collaborate with all departments to conduct annual Risk Assessments and Environmental Aspect & Impact assessments.
· Lead EHS incident investigations. - Execute
· Perform daily EHS patrols on the shop floor and contractors’ tasks, conduct weekly inspections, and follow up to close findings on time. Report to the leadership team. - Execute, influence
· Provide EHS advice and follow up with standard owners to ensure compliance with GEHSMS standards.
· Conduct quarterly audits for technical standards.
· Organize and deliver annual emergency drills (confined space, W@H, fire drills, etc.) as scheduled.
· Attend DOR meetings and update relevant information and data. - Execute
· Oversee the timesheet management for the WWT and medical teams.
· Implement Capex projects as required. - Consult, Execute
5. MESS & GEHSMS Deployment:
· Lead the MESS program and collaborate with the BU and cross-functional teams to implement the agenda and AOP, ensuring 100% compliance with MESS requirements.
· Drive the GEHSMS program and work with all functions to ensure full deployment of required activities, maintaining a high level of GEHSMS implementation at the Ha Nam site.
· Participate in cross-plant MESS and GEHSMS audits.
6. Sustainability
· Drive Recon/Pep+ activities at Ha Nam Site
· Run Glidepath and drive efforts towards achieving excellent sustainability performance.
· Drive & focus on water sustainability, energy reduction, and GHG reduction across the entire site.
· Collaborate with BU and Global teams to learn and implement the Pep+ program and best practices.
· Provide training and monitor KPIs and sustainability activities at Ha Nam Site.
Experience:
· At least 4-5 years of experience in Health & Safety/Environment roles.
Key Skills and competencies:
· Strong problem-solving and proactive approach.
· Supervisory skills.
· Coaching skills (train the trainer).
· Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, HACCP, etc.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Good command of English.
