I. JOB DECRIPTIONS
1. Business Partnering
Serve as the primary finance partner to the Sales & Marketing teams, providing strategic advice and financial guidance on key business decisions.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing leaders to develop and implement strategies that maximize revenue, optimize marketing spend, and drive profitability.
Support new product launches, promotional activities, and pricing strategies by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis
Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes for the Sales & Marketing teams, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Develop and maintain financial models to support sales forecasts, marketing spend, and ROI analysis.
Analyze and interpret financial results, providing actionable insights to Sales & Marketing leaders to drive business performance.
3. Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities within the Sales & Marketing functions.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports related to sales performance, marketing spend, and related activities.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for strategic projects, business cases, and investment decisions.
4. Performance Management
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing activities, including revenue growth, market share, customer acquisition costs, and ROI.
Identify risks and opportunities within the Sales & Marketing functions, and work with the teams to develop action plans to address them.
Conduct post-mortem analysis of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives to assess their effectiveness and impact on financial results.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the FP&A, Revenue Growth, and Accounting teams to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting across the organization.
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing teams to develop and refine financial processes, tools, and systems that support decision-making and efficiency.
Partner with the Supply Chain, Operations, and Product Development teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
