JOB SUMMARY:

1. Take charge gauge and fixture design, ensure gauge and fixture available prior ESB stage.
2. Capable to use NX to design gauge and fixture, 3D models, experience to manage gage and fixture, fabrication, verification, tolerance, stack up tolerance for assembly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

• Review new drawing from engineering to find out those dimensions need fixture or gauge assistance.
• Design gauge with 3D software, NX, CAD, Solid work.
• Develop local gage and fixture fabrication.
• Instruct gauge and fixture verification and qualification with technicians.
• Support SQE to ensure supplier implement gauge and fixture correctly.
• Establish measurement method and WIs, train technicians for all kinds of measurement gauge and fixtures.
• Follow up with cross functional teams for gage and fixture correlation if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

•         BS degree in mechanical design engineering.
•         Min. 4 years gage and fixture design experience in manufacturing.
•         Strong knowledge on GD&T application, ASME 14.5
•         Clear mindset on procedures, working according to standard.
•         Good level of both written and oral English.

•         Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•         Able to work independently and effectively.

Experience:

•        Minimum 4 years of experience in gage and fixture design for manufacturing company

Functional Skills:

•         New drawing review for gauge and fixture perspective.
•         Design gauge and fixture by using NX software, CAD, solid work.
•         Support NPD to review and propose suitable gage and fixture for part quality control.
•         CDA for inspection and equipment.
