Head of Product Development (consumer finance)

Job Description

Job objectives:

• As the Head of Product, you will be in charge of the Product’s P&L, accountable for the financial results and profitability of the products
• Work with senior management to create product strategy and roadmap
• Be in charge of managing the lending product life cycle, from planning to building to evaluating and improving the product to meet business requirements
• Identify market opportunities, build business cases, and define product vision and strategy and key verticals.
• Build Product team to effectively implement the assigned features.
• Work closely with the other departments to formulate strategic insights and propose action plans to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• The Head of Product is responsible for the P&L and financial performance of the products
• Develop product policies and regulations in line with Company's business goals and strategies
• Study, research, analyze and design product improvements and functions based on market research, customer data and system readiness.
• Understand markets, competition and customer/user requirements in depth
• Develop a product policy for cash loans, insurance, BNPL, FNPL, …
• Coordinate with relevant Departments (Finance, Risk, IT, S&M, Operations, etc.) to build and operate product pricing models, manage, and propose suitable product price which are in line with Company’s business plan in each period.
• Work with potential funding partners (banks, financial institutions) to present, negotiate, design models and cooperation products, sign contracts.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and cutting-edge technologies
