Job Description

1. TRAINING STRATEGY AND BUDGET PLANNING

  • Develop training strategies aligned with the current Human situation and business orientation of the Retail Banking Division at each period;
  • Plan the overall budget for training activities to effectively promote annual sales.

2. BUILDING AND MANAGING TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT PLANNING

  • Based on the workforce allocation, analysis of human resources situation, business results, and strategic orientations from the Head Office, the Training/Promotion Plans for the Retail Banking Division are built periodically on an annual/6-month/quarterly basis;
  • Monthly assess the business performance of the unit, discuss with the focal point and coordinate with the region and business units to build a monthly training/promotion action plan;
  • Manage and analyze training indicators, sales productivity, and other periodic data to evaluate the actual training effectiveness and make improvements;
  • Develop a training competency framework and training policies;
  • Allocate resources and supervise the coordination with Head Office to develop detailed content for training/coaching programs based on proposals from the Head Office or Business Units;
  • Manage the development and improvement of training materials and test questions by coordinating and agreeing with Head Office.

3. TRAINING AND MOTIVATION DEPLOYMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Supervise the effective implementation of training courses according to the agreed plan for employees of the Retail Banking Division (Head Office and employees at Business Units). Conduct training and coaching depending on each program;
  • Manage the implementation of Business Discipline Compliance Promotion at the unit level, including (Huddle meetings, telesales, improving rework rates, etc.);
  • In collaboration with the relevant functional departments of HO, the leaders of the Region/Business Unit will implement activities to promote labor productivity such as organizing concentrated telesales, specialized workshops, etc.

4. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

  • Recruit personnel according to the approved staffing plan;
  • Guiding, training, evaluating, and developing departmental staff;
  • Build and maintain the Department's working culture according to the bank's core values and common culture.

5. OTHER TASKS

  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Block's leadership, the Director of the Business Manamegent & Training Center in each period;
  • Coordinate with the Head Office units to implement the Block's common programs to promote sales productivity.

Job Requirement

1. Educational Qualifications

  • Graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration or related fields
  • MBA degree is preferred

2. Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise

  • Knowledge of banking operations and expertise in retail banking: products, procedures, sales, and management systems
  • In-depth knowledge of training, human resources, or business development and human resource management
  • Additional expertise in financial reporting systems, analytical thinking, etc.

4. Relevant Experience

  • At least 3-5  years of experience working in the banking and finance sector.
