Assists in the preparation, compilation and maintenance of safety manuals in Intertek to ensure compliance with safety regulatory standards and meets the Company’s HSE policy and objectives.
Assists in ensuring the safety system is maintained and properly followed in order to comply with both internal, customer and regulatory authorities and that it meets the Company’s HSE policy objectives.
Assists in implementation and continuous review of the HSE Manual.
Assists in implementing good HSE practices and in ensuring these practices are in place and safety regulations followed.
Assists in the investigation of accidents and near miss incidents reported in Intertek.
Organize and conduct HSE training plans.
Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
Job Requirement
Degree in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering / Diploma in Chemical Process and its equivalent/ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C) is preferred.
At least 2 years of HSE related working experience with knowledge of local statutory requirements & HSE standards, preferably within manufacturing or Testing Laboratory.
Able to work independently.
Strong skills in facilitation, analysis and problem solving.
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
