Responsibilities
1. Optimize production processes.
- Research and analyze existing production processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Standardize process and procedure
- Apply analytical tools such as time study, motion study, and value stream mapping to assess process efficiency.
- Suggest automation solutions to optimize workflows, reduce cycle time, and increase productivity.
2. User demand, project feasibility analyze and project control
- Participate in the design and implementation of new automation systems, including both hardware and software: Collect data, analyze data to provide user demand
- FS (feasibility study) documentation
- Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide input on equipment placement, material flow, and ergonomic considerations for automation systems.
- Plan, track, and report on the progress of automation projects.
- Identify and address potential risks during project execution.
3. Layout & Re-layout management.
- Conduct facility layout analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in material flow.
- Develop and implement new facility layouts to improve production flow, reduce material handling, and enhance safety.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed layout plans.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to ensure that automation projects align with overall facility layout and production goals.
4. Automation usage follow-up and analysis
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented automation solutions.
- Propose continuous improvements to enhance performance and product quality
- Plan, track, and report on the progress of automation projects.
