VPBank has been implementing various programs to enhance risk management in compliance with the standards of the State Bank of Vietnam and international benchmarks, such as Basel 2, IFRS 9, biometric technology, and risk reporting systems. The PMO Junior will be responsible for respective project management, ensuring the continuity, efficiency, and stability of both business and technology-related programs and projects in a timely manner; and implementing best practices in project management within Risk Management Division (RMD).
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and perform end-to-end management for assigned risk management projects.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure project scope, schedule, and costs are up-to-date and align with the bank’s project management methodology;
Stakeholder Management:
Peer-to-peer: Support and challenge both business and technical teams in planning and executing tasks, to ensure the quality of deliverables. Facilitate proper communication and collaboration between units to avoid misunderstandings and deliver high-quality results.
Senior Management: Ensure regular reports (both project progress and business analysis) are up-to-date and well-presented, with timely escalation if needed.
External vendors: partner and follow-up with relevant vendors for necessary POC/ Consultation/ Validation/ Audit within the scope of the project.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by team lead/ line manager.
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Banking. Solid knowledge in risk management & banking products, and/or relevant professional certificates (e.g. PMP, PRM, FRM) is a plus.
Experiences: Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
Key competencies:
High proficiency in English is a must.
Highly adaptive and able to quickly catch up new business domains and concepts.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
High proficiency in PowerPoint reporting.
Good project management skill, including proficiency in Agile project management methodology and IT system development life cycle.
Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong in critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, and coordinating with multiple parties.
