The role of this position is to ensure that the activities of a company are in compliance with local/national laws, ethical standards and regulatory policies. This role involves designing and implementing effective internal control systems, financial internal audit, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
1. Internal Control:
Establish new Internal Control & Risk Management department including internal audit related to finance, work procedure check and compliance check
Design and implement the master plan, internal control frameworks, policies, procedures and formats to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standard.
Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive internal control systems to safeguard company assets, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and comply with regulatory standards.
Conduct regular evaluations of internal control systems to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure internal controls are integrated into all business processes.
Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and effective remediation of audit findings.
2. Risk Management:
Develop and oversee the organization’s risk management strategy, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
Establish risk appetite and tolerance levels, and ensure the organization operates within these parameters.
Create and implement risk assessment tools and processes to proactively identify potential risks.
Prepare and present risk reports to General Director, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
3. Compliance Management:
Lead the development and execution of compliance programs (CSR), including employee training and awareness initiatives.
Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices, and advise on necessary adjustments to internal controls and risk management practices.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA/CIA/ACCA is preferred.
Minimum of 5-10 years of working experience as the top manager in internal control, risk management and compliance, preferably in manufacturing listed company or manufacturing Joint Stock Company.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal control frameworks, and risk management best practices.
Proven ability to assess complex business processes and develop effective control strategies.
A good command of English is required.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Experience in risk management or auditing
Experiencing in setup new department and designing a control procedures and regulations
