Manufacturing Engineering loading:
To organize, manage and improve the manufacturing engineering covering all phases from product development to after marketing:
Ø Project involvement:
· Lead the DFM, DFT activity to drive process teamwork with R&D and quality for product robust design and feasibility study, come out the risk and proposal.
· Responsible for process design to meet the requirement of quality, cost and timeline.
· Manage all variant projects in one line to maximize the capacity utilization and flexibility.
· Participate the project gate review meeting as the key member to provide proposal to management team.
· Work with logistic team to monitor and review the customer demand and internal capacity, plan the capacity expansion and Capex application.
Ø Product design involvement:
· Lead the team to understand the customer demand and R&D design initiative.
· Understand the DV/PV test items as the basic to drive the quality assurance of process design.
· Work with other functions interactively to deliver the solution in design phase to meet customer satisfaction.
Ø Process management:
· Manage the process design of assembly, testing, injection to meet the quality requirement and capacity requirement.
· Drive the continuous improvement on safety, cost, efficiency.
· Demonstrate himself as the role model of problem solver, lead the team to work with quality and other functions proactively on quality issue analysis.
Ø People development:
· Adapt the organization smartly for better and leaner structure and efficiency enhancement.
· Setup the atmosphere of teamworking, prevention, customer orientation, closed loop on communication and action plan closure, continuous improvement and standardization.
· Develop the talent to support the personal aspiration and business growth;
· Guidelines, mentoring, coaching, training of engineering team
Ø Continuous improvement:
· Lead the team to improve the process to improve the EBIT;
· Drive the standardization of process and flow to minimize the variance;
· Deploy the lean/safe/craftmanship mindset in all areas
Maintenance loading:
· Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
· Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret drawings, equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
· Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, modifying components and parts, test and make adjustments.
· Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
· Establish and maintain an adequate level of spare parts.
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
· Responsible for to improve the OEE and down timing via TPM etc.
· Support to improve the quality from process and equipment side to solve quality issue
· MS Office and data analysis capability.
· Good command of spoken/written English
· Creative, structured, and systematic thinking
· High degree of personal integrity and confidence.
· Operational skills in production and quality matters
· 10 years’ experience of process engineering and automation
· High degree of integrity, teamwork, accountability, creatively
· Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in engineering, automation
· Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, 5 manuals, etc...)
· “Speak with data” communication and “get hands dirty” leadership
· Bachelor’s degree or above with the major in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive industry, prefer safety restraints systems working experience and in new line start up.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate and collaborate well with cross team and cross function, good team spirit.
· Be familiar with Auto-CAD, Mechanism design.
· Family with PLC programming.
· Family with sensors and camera/CCD etc. poka-yoke.
· Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
· Proficiency in MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
