We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Sourcing Factory
o Source Vendor and develop new products base on Product Development and Merchandising Team requirements and brief.
o Preview and identify “Good Standard” direct factory / vendor sources
o Explain company terms and ensure the fully compliance of the Vendor Standard
2) Vendor Management
o Expand or consolidate vendor base when appropriate
o Price negotiation and lead-time negotiation along with regular trouble shooting issues such as deliveries and quality issues
o Build up strong communication with Regional sales and Supply Chain Team.
3) Production and Product development
- Assist with standards evaluation, setup / update detail tracking records for development and pre-production approval and sample arrangement for testing.
-Good Knowledge candidates having experience into production, product development, Market trend, range development, Analysis, sourcing, buying, Footwear merchandising for Sports & Lifestyle shoes. Textiles/ Bags and Accessories if any other products as necessary.
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years Merchandising/ Sourcing experiences in Footwear/Textile/Bags/Other Sport Accessories Industry.
• Experience in Product development, sourcing, negotiation & factory preview.
• Experience in Global sourcing office dealing with international buyer and stakeholder
• Familiar with Footwear/Textile/Bags and any other Sport Accessories development cycle / schedule / Quality requirement
• Good communication skills, good command in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook)
