Closely work with MRO planner and MRO purchasing supervisor and related departments to ensure JIT of MRO purchased items;
To develop new vendors to reduce MRO purchasing cost;
Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance;
Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time;
Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment;
Coordinate with MRO planner to build an appropriate inventory levels for certain MRO stock room;
Involved in writing up purchasing contracts;
Works on various projects and teams to improve quality, productivity, cost, and safety.
Job Requirement
1. Education:
Required
College or Bachelor’s degree (Preferably Business/ Economics/ Technical);
Good English (4 skills);
Qualified in purchasing course is an advantage.
2. Experience:
From 2-year experience in similar positions at large-scale manufacturing companies.
3. Knowledge of:
Technical and equipment purchase;
Product and process knowledge;
Understanding of production equipment and spare parts is advantages;
Able to handle international purchasing.
4. Skills and Abilities
Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, planning, project management and people skills are a must;
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, summarize information, and draw valid conclusions;
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and, percentages;
Ability to solve practical problems with limited information;
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
Data analysis: MS Office: Word, PP, Excel (advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis), PowerBI or or other data visualization tools is advantage;
Languages: Local language and Good English skills, both in verbal and written;
Preferable knowledge & interest in MRO materials, negotiate with customer and/or technical knowledge.
