Lead the production team to ensure quality products produced at production rate while adhering to safety standards
Manage shop floor layout and set best practices, including tool management, FOD mitigation, part control, machine preventative maintenance and safety protocols
Ensure productivity and utilization of team remains high
Manage Direct Order fulfilment process and customer commit dates
Risk mitigation, including Excess and Obsolescence management
Development and execution of outsourced assemblies and strategic component alternate sourcing plans
Initiate, coordinate and enforce production, safety, and quality systems, policies, and procedures
Serve as a liaison with designers, clients and other stakeholders to maximize efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
Develop and track metrics to continuously monitor and improve all aspects of the production process.
Improvement, utilizing initiatives to reduce costs and support the attainment of established goals.
Play a key role in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products.
Engage in employee development activities, providing regular feedback and coaching to enable career development for team
Create and manage team staffing plans to meet production demands by recruiting, hiring and retaining top talent
Responsible for team training plan and setting standards for workmanship
Build a strong team culture of accountability, collaboration, flexibility, respect and ownership

Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in welding technology or engineering related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, …)
8+ years of experience of welding processes including TIG and MIG in Orbital Welding
5+ years of Welding Management and/or of assembly or production management role
Experience leading and training welders
Experience in a fast paced start up environment
