Job Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
- Calculate employee wages based on hours worked and pay rates.
- Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Ensure accurate and timely distribution of payroll to employees.
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
2. Compliance:
- Stay updated on tax regulations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including withholding and reporting requirements.
- Responsible to handle insurance monthly data update and monthly payment
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
3. Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, earnings, and deductions.
- Maintain staff database, keep track and follow up staff's contract and update new join and exit staff information in the current month
- Maintain other HR related documents, systems or filings including insurance - Generate reports for management and accounting purposes.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.
4. Approval Systems Management:
- Responsible to collect and process monthly attendance record.
- Responsible to maintain and collect related Approval flow for payroll data.
- Coordinate with related approval system PIC both for update or problem solving 5. Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with Recruitment to ensure accurate employee data.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on budgeting and forecasting. - Communicate payroll-related policies and procedures to employees.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a payroll and tax specialist at least 3 years
- Retail industry or same industry with more than 2000 manpower, preferably has experience do manual payroll and tax calculation
- Fluent in English is a must .
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
