To directly manage all production operations and repair & maintenance activities for the site. This individual is responsible for managing production activities, quality issues, and technical trouble- shooting. This role is responsible for the preparation and implementation of procedures, specifications, and other written aids which are used for training and in the operation of the production lines. This role is responsible for ensuring that all production employees are trained in all areas of operations for the best possible product yields, quality standards, and efficiency results.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage the non-woven process lines
Direct the work of the Production Team and Engineering team to achieve high performance
Set up procedures and standards to measure performance of each team
Convert daily reports into graphed data to check progress and ensure continuous improvement
Analyze work delays and quality issues to discover and remedy root cause problems
Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies
Involved and responsible for staffing, continuous improvement, product quality, productivity, EHS implementation and 5S practice
Maintain a sustainable culture of safety, quality and productivity on the production floor
Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the highest quality of the site
Promote a "Zero-Defect" culture by elevating quality awareness
Make effort to achieve the highest performance in operations while encouraging professional growth
Job Requirement
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial technology, Industrial Management or equivalent field.
Minimum 5 years in nonwovens manufacturing environment with large knowledge of carding machine
Good ability to troubleshoot technical problems
Proven experience in leading teams in order to accomplish production goals and objectives.
Proficiency in using multiple data sources and reports to conduct analysis, resulting in implementation of action plans.
Good communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of management and employees.
Strong change management skills to challenge the status quo and drive improvements in a fast changing environment
