PURCHASING & PLANNING EXECUTIVE (PARTTIME -6 MONTHS)
JOB DESCRIPTION
1 Job Scheduling, Planning & Monitoring
- Issue production Job Order Sheet based on production schedule.
- Resolve due date and shortage issues prior to production order release.
2 Purchasing & Production Planner
- Raise purchase requisitions for starting materials and chemicals for approval and issuing purchase order to suppliers.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
- Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
- Receive delivery of materials from suppliers and liaise with QA and Warehouse on the arrival of materials for quality assurance
- Request for samples of starting materials from suppliers
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager of Planning and Purchasing Dept.
Job Requirement
- Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in purchasing and logistics is an advantage.
- Good communication and strong mathematical skills required.
