Job Description

· Complete and confirm production plans for all POs with related factories to ensure the completion of production within the deadline.

· Daily walk the production, packing, warehousing and container loading area and report to the vendor management and Senior Management any irregularities noted, example: incorrect stacking of products, incorrect container loading procedure.

· Receive reports from subordinates and solve the problems if any. If any issue cannot be solved by yourself and your team, report to the higher level for the solution.

· Conduct inspection for: pre-production (including all factory materials and COM materials), in-line of white wood, in- line of finishing and final stages for all types of products.

· Ensure merchandise is made to sample, specifications, drawings and is properly assorted, labeled and packaged, confirm cartons are properly marked.

· Ensure packaging of merchandise is according to required standards and specifications.

· Confirm the container loading plan for all shipments with related factories and coordinate with Logistics team for scheduling of containers.

· Report inspection status in a timely manner including reports on nonconformance and problems that will affect the client merchandise quality and delivery.

· Send the reports immediately in the work group including QC check list/ images of the products/ defects/labeling/ shipping mark.

· Every Monday, send the weekly work plan of the team and yourself to the Senior Management. Be responsible for the team working schedule and overtime if any. All should be recorded and reported to Senior Management.

· Attend PPS (pre-production sample) meeting to make sure the understanding of the product structure and prevention plan for the quality issues during the mass production. Make sure that the whole team is inspecting based on the QC check list and the notices sent by Technician and/or Merchandising team.

· Other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Job Requirement

·         Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in quality assurance and production management in the furniture or woodworking industry.

·         Proficient in reading production drawings and utilizing AutoCAD to access drawings for detailed inspections.

·         Strong understanding of furniture industry standards, regulations, principles, methodologies and tools applying for quality control.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office for generating reports

·         Strong leadership and team management skills to monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and good communication skills to establish with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and sub-contractors. Ability to travel as needed for supplier audits and inspections.

·         Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

·         Collaborate with design and engineering teams to enhance product quality.
