Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent will take charge of In-Process Quality Assurance responsibilities to ensure quality standard and specification compliance in mass production environment, and work closely with all cross-functional teams to
drive for customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Setup processes for IPQC including preparation of quality control plan, sampling plan, process audit, FAI (first article inspection), non-conforming product disposition, data collection and analysis etc.
  2. Lead IPQC Technicians to manage In-Process Quality Control, ensure all products meet internal and external quality standards by strict compliance in mass production to established procedures, work instructions and specifications.
  3. IPQC personnel management and training. Ensure team members are well trained with needed skills to perform required functions.
  4. Support problem solving/troubleshooting in mass production. Carry out experimentation, processcapability studies or other technical evaluation to improve yield and quality.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet delivery schedules and production goals, while actively maintaining the expected level of quality.
  6. Support CQA when having OBA (Out of Box Audit) and Use Test issues by driving containment, corrective & preventive actions as well as continuous improvement in production.
  7. Work closely with CQA and SQA to coordinate customer complaints to drive effective corrective and preventive actions from relevant functions, and verify effectiveness of error avoidance and sustainability.
  8. Maintain and continuously improve TTI quality management system

Job Requirement

  • College or above degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in Quality field related to metal, plastic, electrical or electronic 
  • products as well as manufacturing process quality management. 
  • Familiar with Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Quality methods and tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, 
  • SPC, DOE, 8D etc. Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and pro-actively.
  • Strong skills in problem analysis and solving.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with positive approach.
  • Good English reading, writing and speaking skills.
  • PC skills required (MS Office, Outlook etc.).
