The Quality Manager will be responsible for the operations of the Quality Department to achieve the Business Objectives with the best efficiency in terms of legality, quality, expenses and resources; managing and implementing quality control programs, conducting audits, and developing strategies to improve the product quality. He/She will report to the General Manager and lead the Quality Assurance (QA) Team, Quality Control (QC) Team, and Quality Management Representative (QMR) Team.
Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Manage and maintain the organization's quality of product through process control, including documentation, reporting, data analysis and corrective action plans
Conduct internal and external audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
Train and educate staff on quality control processes and procedures.
Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement
Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues
Lead, manage, coach and develop the QA, QC, and QMR teams
Carry out all job-related supporting activities to "safely produce high-quality products while adhering to legal requirements."
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, quality management, business administration).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record of managing and implementing quality control programs in the flexible packaging industry.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, industry standards and regulations.
Ability to lead and motivate teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Extensive knowledge in Quality Management, Quality Process, Product Safety Control, Quality Risk Assessment and Inspection.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to quality management, including related quality environmental and safety regulations.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage, lead and motivate a team of quality professionals.
Certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or ASQ, is a plus.
