Main purpose:
· Plans, conducts and manages trials to characterize the field performance of products/ projects in line with technical objectives provided by the regional portfolio solution team and the company stewardship guidelines. Summarizes data at the local level and contributes to regional and global field data summaries in line with the field research process. Provides local knowledge on crop management practices, issues, and trends to portfolio solution team as well as local commercial organizations. Support field demo trials and technical presentations to the commercial team for successful product launches as part of a cross-functional team in Vietnam. Reports to portfolio solution manager and Chief of Rep Office.
Key Objectives:
· Direct the activities of the business in the country for the achievement of short and long-term business, policy objectives, profit and market share. Establish Vietnam RO’s objectives, policies and programs within the content of the overall corporate plan and where appropriate, recommend standards and set targets.
· Lead the preparation of the RO’s budgets, reports and forecasts and ensure they are presented in a
timely manner to the Asian Regional Management.
· Appraise the activities of Nufarm in Vietnam according to overall strategies and objectives and monitor and evaluate performance, efficiency of staff, procedures, costs etc.
· Plan the review country’s operating costs particularly with regard to quality & quantity, cost, time available, control activities, inventory levels etc (if applicable).
· Direct the preparation of marketing plans, key customer strategies and sales forecasts and ensure adequate support is provided in all areas.
· Ensure company policies are managed in accordance with local laws and regulatory compliance.
· Monitor relevant market data and development and maintain relationships with key industry participants
· Be the leader in implementing Nufarm’s culture and values throughout Vietnam

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Capable of ideal field trial execution; from preparing the protocol, selecting field trial sites, evaluating trial results, forecasting sample needs and organizing local shipments of test items. Accountable for exact planting, applications and evaluations as well reliable data providing.
· Processing the data from own trials and data from other field conductors. Based on product performance, providing main observations and recommendations to the portfolio and cross-functional product development team.
· Preparing the dosage rate for supporting the product registration/label expansion based on bio-efficacy data.
· Supporting the generating local data for positioning/ repositioning products.
· Supporting/Training for customers/growers/Nufarm staff.
· Assisting with Demo trials for launches / campaigns.
· Measuring the field performance, understanding resistance issues, and identifying trends and issues relative to the competition in the assigned area.
· Representative as an expert on the company for its products from a technical perspective. Working as company in the assigned area and related activities.
· Providing technical needs and activities essential to the business unit.

Experience and qualifications:
· Knowledge of Field Trial Management and related global R&D processes.
· Knowledge of the pesticides market and the agricultural/ farming tendency.
· Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person and teamwork.
