- Champion the Scrum framework within the development team, ensuring adherence to principles, events, and artifacts.
- Facilitate effective daily Scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering transparency and continuous improvement.
- Manage and refine the product backlog in close collaboration with the Product Owner and stakeholders.
- Serve as the Jira expert, guiding team members in effective issue tracking, sprint management, and reporting.
- Utilize Google Sheets for additional data analysis, task tracking, and visualization as needed.
- Implement and manage monitoring systems to ensure visibility into application and system performance, proactively identifying potential issues.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the Board of Directors, communicating project progress, risks, accomplishments, and key metrics.
- Work with the broader IT department to maintain a well-organized and prioritized backlog of work, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Remove impediments that hinder the development team's progress, protecting them for undue distractions
- Coach development teams in Agile principles, effective Scrum practices, and self-organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Saturday), with Sundays off.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira for project management, board configuration, workflow design, reporting, and querying (JQL).
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, including data manipulation, formula creation, and chart generation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build strong relationships, resolve conflicts, and influence positive change within the team and broader organization.
- Understanding of software development principles and technologies.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on process optimization and team empowerment.
