Job Description

1. Main Purpose:

Overseeing the end-to-end merchandise lifecycle for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with brand vision, financial goals, and market trends. This includes strategic planning, buying, pricing, inventory management, and collaboration across various departments to optimize stock levels, drive sales, and enhance profitability across all channels.

2. Key accountabilities:

Brand Strategy & Development:
- Lead the entire merchandise lifecycle for assigned categories, including collection planning, buying, allocation, replenishment, and pricing while coordinating with Marketing team to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Develop and execute data-driven buying strategies that align with market trends, brand vision, and financial goals.
- Manage inventory allocation across all channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce) to optimize stock levels and minimize markdowns. Be responsible for all Merch management including logistics team.

Marketing Campaigns & Execution
- Implement effective replenishment strategies to ensure product availability and meet customer demand.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies that maximize profitability and brand positioning.
- Oversee in-season price management to optimize margins and react to market dynamics.
- Plan and follow up on executing promotional activities across all channels to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Monitor and analyze Gross Margin Return on Investment (GMROI) and implement strategies to improve performance.

- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing merchandise team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate working directly with e-commerce managers and store managers to streamline inventory allocation across digital and physical channels and collaborate with other departments such as IT, Marketing, Customer service to ensure the alignment and success of merchandise management initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Brand Principal to meet all contractual obligations regarding planning and procurement
- Provide weekly merchandise communication and direction to internal stakeholders, including marketing, visual merchandising, and sales teams on BIG bets and best sellers.

Job Requirement

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior merchandising role within the fashion footwear and handbag industry
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, profitability, and inventory optimization across an omni-channel environment.

Work related skills:

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and retail forecasting software
- Deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape
- Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management (a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail planning software (D365).
- Customer-Centricity: Possessing customer insights as part of the merchandising strategy 
- English and Vietnamese fluency
