Job Description

Senior Director of Sales is responsible for establishing and directing the sales activities of the organization including indirectly being part of advertising and public relations in conjunction with the marketing team. These activities affect the direction and goals of business.

The candidate is responsible for selling the total hotel room, events, and food & beverage and should always keep focused on motivating the sales team in the region / zone / cluster, train sales team, and achieve goals and objectives through sales solicitation and overall coordination.

Supervise revenue management of all the units in the cluster to ensure proper pricing policy in all the segments, and implementation of sales strategy to achieve the goals of the organization. Also be part of marketing and branding plans implementation for all hotels in the cluster.

To implement sales activities and to maximise business opportunities generated from corporate and leisure, MICE, Leisure groups, Golf course for the cluster hotels. Responsible for managing the relationship, qualify and evaluate accounts, sales solicitation for local and overseas group and individual business, incentive house for rooms, events and food & beverage in general. Ensuring generation of new accounts and relationship building within assigned segments; provide sufficient leads to achieve budget/goals through the sales & marketing team.

Be the brand ambassador and attend all key events in the country and represent the resort and source business through PR/ lead generation activities.

Responsible for also conducting and attending trade shows, sales missions, and trips both domestic and international markets and working closely with rep network.

Develop new markets by capitalizing on opportunities to maximize revenues for the hotel.

Job Requirement

  • A university degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field is required.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing, public relations and/or the tourism industry is required .
  • Strong in inter-personality and leadership skill.
  • Strong in driving results.
  • Proof of previous sales success.
  • Strong network of connections is an asset.
